Attorney Bio

Stacy Levy is a graduate of Emory School of Law.  She has been zealously defending the rights of people accused  of crimes for almost 25 years.  Her early career included 6 1/2 years as an Assistant Public Defender in DeKalb County, Georgia.  The majority of her time was spent in the courtroom, giving her extensive and valuable trial experience.

From her very 1st jury trial (which was less than 4 months after her law school graduation), she has been a tireless advocate for those whose freedom is in jeopardy.  In her first jury trial, her client was found NOT GUILTY of Sexual Battery and Simple Battery.  Although he was facing substantial time in prison, he walked out of the courtroom a free man.   Recently she defended a man who had been in prison awaiting his trial on 11 counts of Rape and Child Molestation for over 2 1/2  years.  Her client was found NOT GUILTY on ALL  11 counts.

Her long and successful career has taken her to Courts throughout Georgia.  Thousands of court appearances and her down to earth demeanor have earned her not only the respect of prosecutors and peers alike but the reputation of being a talented trial lawyer.

“To whom much is given, much is expected,” is a principal by which Stacy tries to live her life.  Her career has afforded her the opportunity to give back to the community in a variety of different ways.  When not advocating for clients, she is a dedicated volunteer at the Breman  Jewish Home as well as volunteering her time with mentally challenged young adults.  She is also a frequent volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.

An athlete since early childhood, in her spare time, Stacy enjoys training for and competing in triathlons.
